Comments: Since 2012 Tullow Oil has been on a steady decline dropping from 1,500p to 150p or 10% of its peak price, they also stopped paying dividends in 2015 breaking an 11 year streak.

The big problems are the fact that that it is currently loss making $700m during 2016, has about $4bn of debt and a $750m rights issue during March 2017 increased shares in circulation by about 50%. This is against sales of $800m for the first half of 2017 .

In other words it is in a "restructuring period", but production is up over 2016 and there doesn't appear to be any likelyhood of funds running out this year.

Trying to understand the companies various oil fields is very difficult so a lot of time would be needed to truely understand the future, this makes the company quite trickey for the private trader.
